Console Servicing & Internal Clean

Overheating | Dust Removal | Thermal Paste

Is your console overheating or running loud? This may be due to your console requiring a service. If your fan stops completely due to a build up of dust, this may cause severe damage to your console such as  damage to the GPU (Graphics Processor Unit)!

We recommend a service to be carried out on your console at least once or twice a year to ensure this problem is avoided and to increase the longevity of your console.

The fan in your console works off the temperature of the motherboard. If the motherboard is getting too hot, the fan will increase in speed to keep your console cool. Sometimes a build up of dust, or thermal paste drying up, can contribute to higher temperatures. A service is perfect for this sort of issue.

What exactly does the servicing include?

  1. A full disassembly of your console to check the internals parts & movements.
  2. Internal clean including, but not limited to, the fan module & ports.
  3. Thermal paste removal & reapplication.
  4. Advice on your console if necessary.

We offer this service for all consoles such as Xbox, PlayStation & Nintendo.

LW Repairs were very helpful when we needed our I pad screen replaced. They replaced it quickly and at a reasonable cost. They were just as helpful when the button stopped working and fixed that really quickly and again at a reasonable cost. Would definitely only go here now for any tech related issues.

Brilliant service at LW Repairs. Lewis and co were extremely helpful when I went in to purchase a phone. I will definitely use them again and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
